Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and athletics.
I enjoy sports because they are a great way for me to be competitive and have fun. I love the friendships formed on the field or mat and especially the thrill of winning, whether with the team or just (as an) individual.
What is your most memorable athletic moment?
Winning our school's first ever wrestling team league title during my sophomore year.
Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why
As an athlete I'm not inspired by any one person, rather I look up to all who have found success. Whether it’s a coach, teammate, or even a rival, I try to learn something from them. I know that I can always improve, so I'm always trying to.
What are your greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
It has always been difficult fitting sports and school work into my day, along with all the other activities I'm involved in. Overall though, sports have helped me learn how to budget my time and complete all the things I need to do.
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
After high school I am going on a foreign exchange trip to Australia for a year through Rotary. When I return, I will attend college.
