SERVICE
An interfaith community service will take place Monday for the Herkimer and Mohawk communities affected by Wednesday’s shooting tragedy. It will start at 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church on Prospect Street in Herkimer. The service will focus on healing and hope, organizers said.

WHERE TO GET HELP
Greg Kovacs, a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice in Utica, wants to help Herkimer County residents affected by the shootings. He’s offering one free session of mental health consultations, supportive therapy and referrals as needed to children, adults and families in the county.
