Lieutenant Commander Eric Mang, 40, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on April 26, 2012, in Japan.

He is survived by his wife, Cirilina Mang; his children, Erik (Ricky), Rebekah and Lucas; his mother, Irene Mang, of Palatine Bridge; his sisters, Barbara Burditt, of Little Falls, Kathleen Eikost, of Saratoga Springs, and Colleen Petrie, of Caroga Lake; his brothers, James Mang, of Nelliston, and Mark Berry, of Maine; and other relatives.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. A full obituary will follow soon.
