Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and athletics.
I enjoy the physical aspect of playing any sport. For me, there is a feeling of satisfaction to challenge myself physically. After a day of school, I need an avenue to release built up energy. Sports are the answer.

What is your most memorable athletic moment?
Although not a memory of triumph or glory, one athletic moment that I will never forget is when I tore my ACL in an AAU basketball game. The recovery and rebuilding process seemed long, but the positive I gained from the experience was a renewed level of self-confidence and a belief in myself that I can work through any obstacle.

Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why
My dad inspires me the most. Honesty is No. 1. When I have a good game, he compliments me; but he also points out areas where I need to work harder or make improvements. I respect his honesty and know he only wants me to be the best I can be.

What are your greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
For me, academics and sports compliment each other. When my schedule is full, it is easier for me to stay focused and organized on everything that needs to get done. The only challenge is fitting in enough sleep.

What are your plans after graduating from high school?
I will graduate from high school in June 2011. Currently, my thought is to pursue an education in physical therapy.
