Herkimer, N.Y. —
The Herkimer Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing, despondent woman.
Sarah C Mitchell, 38, is five-feet, eight-inches tall, has brown hair and brown eyes. She currently resides in Herkimer, but her children and ex-husband live in Oswego, police said.
She was last seen in Herkimer on Sunday evening, and she left a note for her sister saying she was leaving. She has not been seen or heard from since Monday, police said.
Mitchell may be operating a 1998 blue Toyota Corolla, with license plate No. FHJ3142, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call 866-4330.
