LITTLE FALLS — The Little Falls Common Council will conduct a public hearing on a local law to override the state-imposed property tax cap.The state law enacted in 2011 limits the annual growth of property taxes levied by local governments and school districts to 2 percent or the rate of inflation, whichever is less.For 2014, state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli set the cap at 1.66 percent.The public hearing will take place at 6 p.m. on April 1 at City Hall.
